I was born in United States at Atlanta, Georgia on June 6th, 1983. Few weeks later, my mom brought me to Taiwan where my dad works and lives. I was educated in Taiwan until the sophomore year in high school before move back to United States. So I transfer to a high school in Sacramento, California to complete my high school and graduate in 2001. At that moment, I only knew I like to study something that related to computer. But I had hard time to decide whether I should go computer science or something art related in it. After I graduated in high school, I decided to give it try in computer animation, where San Francisco is pretty close to where I was in high school. 

  I started as a student in animation department, went through all the drawing classes, animation lectures till 2004. I had a chance to intern in a TV commercial post house in Taiwan when I went to visit my family during summer. I started to fall in to visual effects they did for commercials and have decided to switch my major to visual effects later in that year. I am more focus in particle/fluids simulation, lighting, composting and rendering as I felt these elements could add more dramatic to the medium that I work on. And I started to study all those movies and sci-fi shows I watch when I grew up till the recent once. Also realize I need more then artistic for what I want to do, so I recently went to San Francisco City College to get some computer scripting courses. 

  At this moment, I am completing my Master Degree in Animation and Visual Effects – Visual Effects TD focused to expand the skills and knowledge in industry. My goal is to be a professional Technical Director in film industry.
