[Maya API] my customized deformer

I wrote this deformer Maya plug-in as my final project topic for my Maya Plug-in workshop I took from cgSociety website. So what I want to do with this deformer is to gather almost everything I learned from this workshop and be able to apply them to this deformer node in Maya. Math in here is not an easy subject during my development of this node, so the current deformer node are designed for more three-denominational form of geometry instead of paper-ish like geometry.

[Maya API] raycast node

This is one of the API node I learn to write recently with a class I take from cgSociety. Basically creates a custom node in Maya and will take Polygons and Nurbs in the “Target” field like geometries as boundaries.  Boundaries for what?  In this node there are origin and direction vector values, these shows where the ray is shooting from (origin) and which direction the ray is shooting towards to (direction). Then it’ll return a vector value to show where the ray intersect with geometry we specified in the “Target” field.
